Little Big Planet 2 Trailer
Hardly a shock, but at least it has a decent acapela Passion Pit track over the top. With added game creation tools and backwards compatibility with older content, the focus is very much on CREATE this time around. I’m looking forward to seeing what people create this time around, because once again I’ll probably not bother to make anything.
I enjoyed LBP, hopefully creation isn’t as overwhelming and the content is all available from the start.
I found the original charming. The unique-looking levels had and well matched score accompanying them. Adorable character, wonderfully stupid-looking NPCs and enjoyable physics sections.I had a great time playing through it coop. I look forward to doing the same this time round. Looks like they’ve included some sort of grappling ‘scarf’ which suggests they realise that people weren’t enamoured with the original’s jumping physics.
The music in the first LBP left a longer lasting impression on me than the game did.

I’m not surprised they’ve not changed the forumula much, but I can’t help feeling we’ll all be even less inclined to make our own levels.
