Welcome back sports fans.
After some delays owing to the Christmas/New Year period we’ve finally managed to drag things back on track to wrap up the first Citizen Gamebowl. Personally, things have been a bit tumultuous and in Round Seven I actually had to concede to my opponent without even playing the match as I just couldn’t make the time in my schedule. Red Dwarf were due to play Kelron’s Goats, but I just could not get myself together while Kelron waiting patiently for over a month. Dezzick and Asmodeus also had trouble finding time to play one another, so a draw was decided for that fixture to finally get things into gear again.
So, after dutifully entering said scores and advancing the league into the play offs, I was surprised to discover that the game’s league software had put all eight league teams through to the finals and scheduled matches over three play off rounds. Frankly, this wasn’t supposed to happen. The top four were supposed to advance and play each other for podium placings in two games, but something has obviously gone wrong somewhere. I’m going to go ahead and blame the developers Cyanide for this cock up as they have completely failed (over three iterations of Blood Bowl on PC) to actually document the online aspect of the game in any significant detail whatsoever. The idiots.
And so it has fallen to me to make an executive decision regarding the finals. We were all expecting a simple play off, and that’s what we’re going to have. To that end, Kelron’s Goats and Neo’s Dinosaurs will play one final game against each other to determine who takes first place over all, with the loser being designated second. JSnuk’s Scalie’s will play Dezzick’s Bankers and the winner of that match will take third, while the loser will be tossed down with the rest of us who couldn’t make it to the finals. It’s simple, straightforward and a damn sight easier than the alternative.
No match video this time folks, but expect a bumper update when the Final results are in not too long from now.

@Mark
It’s just not documented, at all. There aren’t even any tool tips. Woeful, woeful cock up.
The on-line league management system sound a real mess.
