Hurrah! It’s 2012 and we’re officially back in action here at Citizen Game after a surprisingly busy Christmas break. (Well, I say busy, but I mostly spent it drunk playing Skyrim and gorging on Chocolate coins, Quality Street and pudding. It’s a type of busy.)

We trust all Citizens far and wide had a pleasant holiday and are looking into 2012 with the same mix of excitement and unease that we have here at Citizen Game. We think 2012 is going to be a good year for games, but as to how good… well, we just don’t know. We just hope 2012 is free of any cataclysmic events of the Maya calendar variety.

While we try and figure that out you’ll see the return of the type of games writing and video journalism you know and love here on the site over the coming weeks.
