Left 4 Dead 2 fans can gain access to “The Passing” today; the first add-on for Valve’s co-op shooter. The pack, that’s free on PC but will cost Xbox 360 owners 560 Microsoft Points, brings the original L4D survivors down south to meet the sequel’s cast in a brand new campaign which takes place directly after the events of “Dead Center”. You also gain access to brand weekly “mutations” which will change up the online game-modes with gameplay modifiers. It will be interesting to see if these spark mutations such as ‘Realism Versus Mode’ and ‘Chainsaw Massacre’ spark-up the games online community like Valve’s similar endevours with Team Fortress 2 have. Game night anybody?

Yea i love the left4Dead games. Pretty much got the first one at release and ditched the 1st when the 2nd came out. Play it religiously once a week with 3 other mates. Always great fun. For the amount of hours we’ve put in we have never progressed past Advanced difficulty which still causes us problems far too often. Loving the new map and looking forward to the variety that will come from the Mutations each week.
Looks good, valve know what they’re doing at least.
Game night for sure!
I really need to play this more.
Yea I havent played much since the first few weeks. Much like TF2, I think this will get me back into it…at least for another few weeks!
The whole L4D frenzy has totally passed me bye. I enjoyed what i played but some people are fanatical.
