Hotline Miami

So, it appears the brutality is far from over. Jonatan Söderström of Dennaton Games, the devs responsible for twisted 80s-referencing violent murder arena/quintessence of effective game design Hotline Miami, has confirmed via his Twitter account that a follow up to the critical darling is on the way.

Apparently it’ll have quite the ambience as well:

Eurogamer were hot off the mark as always, and caught up with Söderström long enough to get further details on the situation. Apparently the game will be an extension of already-planned DLC.

“Yeah, it seems like it will end up bigger (in terms of the number of levels we’ve got planned) than the first, so it feels reasonable to release it as a full game rather than a DLC,” said Söderström. “We’ve barely begun working on it though, still got things we need to patch with the first game, so that’s the main priority right now.”
