In regard to working with onlive. Barry you spoke about designing to take advantage of the service. While apparently they are running on standard clients, I would imagin if this did end up hitting off that it is entirly possible games will add programming support for the onlive service. Not knowing much about the service Im not sure if it will end up being an issue but for networking games we use network predictions. This means that if I am playing Barry and he is runnign away from me because I am too awesome smilies/cheesy.gif as long as nothing changes (new input) we predict that he keeps running in the same direction at the same speed. This reduces the amount of messages the network is constantly sending. Now as onLive appears to be just streaming this might not be possible but if it is possible it could help make a game appear more seemless, especially when dealign with netowrked games.

Also to do with Street Fighter 4, the button combination's are the exact same as they were in Street Fighter 2 to do the "fancy uppercut". In fact the combination's are easier, due to having a wider range of input. Thus to answer the why would they do that question you ask, you cant change the fundamental game play, the basics that have been there from such a huge title like SF2.
Good point Danny though, precisely the reason for Seth being insane is because otherwise the game is just a 15 minute run through, that's the main thing I think non fighting fans or people new to the fighting genre don't get.

Ill get to work right away on the photo bomb mechanic, merged with some twitter elements smilies/cheesy.gif
