Marry a Character
The Citizen Soapbox is an area where we throw out topics to the users of Citizen Game. When we record the podcast on Sunday night we take the previous week’s Soapbox answers and use them in our own discussions. We think it’s a great way of involving you guys in our stupid arguments!
The Setup:
Last week a gamer in Japan (well it would be wouldn’t it) tied the knot with a video game character from the relationship “simulator” Love Plus. If you need any more details from this awfull moment in human history, heres an article.
The Question:
If you HAD to marry a computer game charater who, or what, would it be?

I'd like to see what tricks the King of all cosmos has in the sack
Character: Bayonetta.
Reasons: Ass.
Ophelia from Brutal Legend, she is one hot Emo/Goth chick.
I would also pick Elena Fisher from Uncharted, Hot reported thats not afraid of a bit of action
I can’t decide between:
Tifa from Final Fantasy 7
Beatrix from Final Fantasy 9
Jade From Beyond Good and Evil
Dawn Star from Jade Empire
Or Ada Wong from Resident Evil 4.
I think I’ll pick Ada Wong.
She’s sexy and mysterious, with a badass attitude. Lovely!
Can’t forget her sexy red dress as well.
How about Sonia from Ninja Gaiden 2? She looks great, has a steady job working for the government and can kick ass!
However given a recent release on Xbox Live i think i may be in love with Bayonetta. She looks great and is English (something lacking in today’s female protagonists). Also if were going to look at the bedroom scene she can undress by just thinking about it!

If I had to marry a video game carecter I would probaly be yuna from final fantasy X-2 or crash bandicoots sister(i could well tap that)

Most female game characters either constantly need rescuing or bitchy action girls with life consuming vendettas/obsessions. Both are too much work for me.
I guess I’ll go for the obvious woman that doesn’t fall into either category then, Alyx from Half-life 2. She’s smart, attractive and has a sense of humour despite the dystopia future. Take her out of the constant threat of danger and she’d be very fun.
Hopefully events in Episode 2 don’t shift her too much into the second category…
If I HAD to, then I’d probably marry Meryl Silverburgh from Metal Gear Solid. She’s feisty, knows how to handle a “large weapon” and will even allow you to follow her into the bathroom while she’s wearing no pants. Gotta be careful of those daddy issues though.
The character I absolutely wouldn’t marry would be Aeris from Final Fantasy VII, because *spoiler* … she dies.
